JOYEM Partners with TC Community Table to Serve Memorial Day Meals in High Point
In celebration of Memorial Day, Just Open Your Eyes Ministry (JOYEM) proudly partnered with TC Community Table to prepare and serve meals to members of the community on Washington Street in High Point, North Carolina.
Despite rainy weather conditions, the outreach event was a tremendous success and reflected the power of community collaboration and service. With the support of 6 dedicated Board Members and 5 committed volunteers, JOYEM prepared and served 80 meals to individuals and families in need.
The Memorial Day outreach was organized with the goal of providing not only food, but also encouragement, compassion, and connection to those experiencing hardship or food insecurity within the community. Through this event, community members were able to enjoy a warm meal and experience the spirit of togetherness and support.
JOYEM is also incredibly grateful for the generous donations and support received from D-Up and SiSters 336 Collective. Their contributions helped make this outreach event possible and demonstrated the importance of partnerships in serving the community effectively.
Events like this continue to support JOYEM’s mission of addressing both the physical and spiritual needs of individuals throughout the High Point area. By working together with local organizations, volunteers, and supporters, we are able to extend hope, love, and practical assistance to those who need it most.
We sincerely thank everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported this Memorial Day outreach effort. Together, we are making a meaningful impact in the lives of our neighbors and strengthening our community one act of service at a time.
